Our Mission
At Smart Play, we are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can explore, learn, and grow. Our mission is to ensure a safe and caring atmosphere where children feel valued, respected, and empowered to express themselves. Encourage holistic development by providing engaging, play-based learning experiences that cater to each child’s unique interests and abilities. Embrace and celebrate the diverse backgrounds and cultures of our children, fostering an understanding and appreciation of differences. Instil a love of learning by inspiring curiosity and creativity, helping children develop essential skills for their future. Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community, recognizing that collaborative relationships enhance children's learning and well-being.
Children Value
We acknowledge the depth in early learning and we understand that it needs to be flexible. We value the children's voice and understand that in order for them to play, explore and learn, they need to feel confident in their environment and have knowledge that their voice is a way for exploration.
Let's talk
We have skilled practitioners to promote positive interactions strategies to build children early communication and independent skills. We organise our space and resources which enables the children and adults to maximise opportunities to build early language skills. We collect data, analyse and then plan for children independent needs to build a picture of their progress. We approach to deliver quality small group times where children are grouped according to their needs.
EAL
We support all cultures and backgrounds here at Smart Play as we are based in a multicultural and diverse society. We build all our policies around British Values to ensure that all children, parents, staff and visitor feel valued in our setting.
SEN
Our SEN policy is built around British Value's principles. We work as assess, plan, do, review- graduate response. We assess our service and provision according to children needs. We plan the next steps of learning, collect evidence and make sure any gaps are filled. We have regular review meetings with parents and early years SEN support team. We are an exclusive practise with skilled practitioner and expertise in different needs.
Parent Partnership
We aim to provide healthy, motivated high standards of care and education to children. This can become possible by our partnership working with our parents and other agencies. Parents play a very important role in the children education and life. Their input and support helps us to balance children's progress and development.
